The Californian sunlight splashes on the floor of the art gallery where my new collection of work was on exhibit. The space was warm and inviting, and very aesthetically pleasing. The joy of walking into that space was so satisfying, as I was about to not only have an art reception there, but teach a multi-day workshop on the one thing that brings me the most joy: creating beautiful designs and painting those designs on silk with dye.
