An intimate street in Paris.

In the 14th arrondissement of Paris is this charming, tiny street with an interesting name. The battle of Thermopylae was fought between Greece and Persia, in 480 B.C., and the term 'Thermopylae' came to be later associated with a narrow pass—very much like this one we found in Paris!

I adored the detail of the café that was center of my view down the narrow lane. I wrote about this neighborhood on my blog at https://www.reneshoemaker.com/blog/2021/8/26/a-quick-tour-to-paris . I did think it would be lovely to live on that street with its tiny houses and historic passageway.
