Discovering the Chattahoochee Valley: Silk Paintings by Rene Shoemaker

Athens artist Rene Shoemaker installs her exhibit of 11 silk paintings from the ceiling of the Columbus Museum, which opens August 23. The 4-foot by 10-foot paintings on silk twill are inspired by scenes in Columbus, Georgetown and Eufaula.
