By the old bridge in the medieval town of Felletin (La Creuse, France), is a delightful row of buildings that continually intrigue me. As the water in the river rushes by, I am tempted to descend those stone steps to reach the river. I’m sure the steps were used to reach the small commercial boats of the past.
